The brackets are bolted to the wall and hinge outward to provide an extremely solid support for your bench or table. When you want to collapse the table, you release a small catch, and the arm folds back into the channel, which is mounted to the wall. The distance from the wall to the table when it is collapsed is 1". The length of the part that fastens to the wall is 6-1/2", and the supporting arm is 12" long.
These folding table brackets are sold in sets of 4, with fasteners not included. They are made of polished stainless steel, offering a sleek and durable design. The reach of the brackets is 12", and they are 1" thick, with a maximum load capacity of 550 lb or 330 lb, depending on the option chosen.
